Farmbot is an exciting step forward for sustainable farming through automation. This OPIM Innovate initiative is a robotic farming tool that can do the mechanical work needed for an agricultural study on a continuous basis, allowing for more consistent test cycles and data collection, along with increased yield with far fewer man-hours of labor.

As such, Farmbot is an integral part of the future of Grow 2 Give, as it can swiftly and efficiently plant and care for our spearmint plants from planting through the seedling stage, at which point they can be transported to the Child Development Labs to be cared for by the preschool classes until they are ready for donation. 

This crossover point of two otherwise separate OPIM initiatives only serves to highlight the power of interconnectivity and collaboration in the world of innovation!
