This skillshare will include basic introduction to how machine learning works, specifically linear regression/classification methods and an attempt to visualize them. Visualizing these algorithms will help create a better understanding of how they work. We will be using Python and some basic data manipulation skills to show the most fundamental applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The OPIM Innovate Lab offers hands-on technology oriented coffee chats on a variety of topics of interest to the UConn community. These coffee chats provide an excellent virtual learning opportunity as well as a venue for the exchange of ideas among fellow members of the university and professionals. All coffee chats are 30-60 minutes networking sessions and are held on Webex.

Jessica graduated from UConn with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Math in 2020 and currently works as a Senior Scientist in Fabric Enhancer Innovation at Henkel Corporation in Trumbull, CT.
